it's funny how good this still sounds, 28 years later! A simpler sound than today but a classic track that will never feel dated.

For a question asked somewhere I can't recall, I would call this some form of Trip Hop. For a similar experience try Bowery Electric. Some of it is grating/annoying but it grows on you. A few sublime tracks and the opening especially.

Mesmerizing.

This track has been my main influence for my music for many years. Bjorn Arve cant be cretidet enough for this amazing soundtrack that has inspired so many musicians in the 90's for making ambient /lounge like we hear today.

Simply the best track in the Cafe, one of the best games ever made, same goes for the soundtrack... I can listen to this on loop for hours...

When I hear this music, I can almost perceive heat of a summer’s day on my skin, smell the stink from the canals and feel this sense of overwhelming smallness you experience in big cities... and yet I feel like I am exactly where I’m meant to be. That's what Venice must have felt like. I love how TLJ could completely transport me to a place like that.

No point-and-click adventure can really get love-fondling memorable and nostalgic. The Longest Journey: "Hold my beer..."

Old videogame music has, usually, been more atmospheric in giving you feelings of mystery, insecurity, misery,vthe unknown, the strange and the like. Dragon, between other songs from TLJ, is a perfect example of this. It's easy to be in this world where you see people in decadence, a decline in wellness and a downgrade in living. The same "scary sound" from the PS1 intro song. I like this, for some reason. Maybe it's because it transmit all the possible feelings efficiently

Got a savefile right next to the jukebox. Don't think I'm ever gonna delete it, even though I've downloaded this song.
